Seasoned Data Center Financial Executive Bruce MacLean And General Counsel David Meisels Join ZincFive
PORTLAND, Oregon—(January 2020)—ZincFive, the world leader in nickel-zinc batteries and solutions, announced today the appointment of two senior leaders to its management team. Bruce MacLean is joining the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and David Meisels is appointed as General Counsel.
Prior to joining ZincFive, Mr. MacLean was co-founder and CFO of Fortune Data Centers, which helped establish the wholesale data center segment in Silicon Valley in 2007. In 2014, the Fortune properties and team were merged with the Dallas Infomart to create Infomart Data Centers, where Mr. MacLean served as CFO and coordinated the sale of the company in 2018 to Equinix and IPI Partners for in excess of $1 billion. Mr. MacLean received his Bachelor of Arts from the U.C. Berkeley.
Mr. MacLean succeeds Jim Cruckshank who is moving on to other opportunities after serving as ZincFive’s CFO for more than 3 years.
Mr. Meisels served most recently as Vice President and General Counsel for D&M Holdings Inc. and Sound United LLC, owners of iconic technology brands:
Denon, Marantz, Polk Audio and Boston Acoustics. In that role, he oversaw the company’s legal and intellectual property departments including managing teams in Asia, Europe and the United States. During his tenure, the Company grew to nearly $1 billion in revenue. Mr. Meisels attended the University of California Santa Barbara followed by King Hall School of Law at UC Davis where he served as an editor of the law review.
